Brighton Motorsports is pleased to offer this very nice 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 (Type 964), finished in special-order Amazon Green Metallic over optional full Cashmere Beige supple leather interior. This is our own car and not part of our regular vintage car inventory, and we've decided to offer this car for sale because we've just purchased a 911 Turbo. We have enjoyed owning and driving this car very much, and it's a great car to drive, with that sweet "air cooled" Porsche sound and feel.
 
While preserving its factory look, the car has been updated with full window tint, "turbo" style genuine Porsche alloy wheels, new Kumho tires, K&N Intake Air Filter, and Alpine CD changer with remote. It also comes with a custom color-coordinated fitted soft-fabric car cover, and Porsche-logo floor mat sets (in addition to the factory sets).
 
This is a nicely equipped car - featuring the supple-leather interior option, factory sunroof, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and power doorlocks. In addition to enjoying the look and feel of the earlier Porsche 911's, you also get the modern benefits of fuel injection, ABS, driver and passenger airbags and many other safety features. Many Porsche purists and enthusiasts prefer this model (Type 964) for its blending of tradition and technology -- offering performance very similar to the 993 at about half the price. And, we're seeing the values of the Type 964 increase lately.
 
We purchased the car from the second-owner, who also was careful to preserve all of the records obtained from the first owner, including 46-pages of first-owner service records. (He relocated and retitled the car between his companies and himself before we acquired it from him). The car is now on a clean Arizona title, with "Box A" actual miles, and is also has a full and clean CARFAX with their buyback guarantee. Since we've owned the car, we've completed over $4,000.00 of service and repair (also fully documented), and the car is mechanically very sound and strong. In '03, there was a minor front fender dent which as professionally repaired. And most recently, we freshened-up the whole outside -- there were some minor stone chips up front so we repainted the hood and bumper, and then we buffed the whole car. The car has no damage or accident history, and it looks great!
 
The car has all of its original factory books (owner's manuals and leather case), full tool set and case, spare tire, warranty cards, factory spare coded keyset, and spare factory computer chip. Overall the condition is good, and everything works as it should. We've also detailed the car, and had the front seats re-dyed. The glass is all great and there are no chips in the windshield.
