Brighton Motorsports is pleased to present this very unique 1935 Plymouth 4 door Deluxe Taxicab. This automobile has been faithfully restored to original taxicab specifications and discreetly upgraded for contemporary dependable transportation. It is ideal for concierge service, client transportation or just having fun attending car events. Its suicide doors are perfect for escorting folks into and out of the vehicle.

The ambience of this taxicab theme vehicle is complimented on the interior by an authentic meter, dispatch microphone, reading lamp, and three devices for different horn sounds (honk, whistle, and bells). The Air Conditioning controls are discreetly located in the glove compartment. The clutch and stick shift are remaining but are not functionally relevant as the car has a late model 3 speed GM automatic transmission with a small, barely visible shift lever that drops down below the dash. The passenger’s name is Constance Ryder and her luggage is mid 1930’s and period correct for the car.

The engine is a later model Chevrolet straight 6 that has period correct Plymouth badges and stickers to make it look more authentic to the car. Besides the Air Conditioning and Automatic Transmission upgrades, heavy duty brakes, upgraded steering and radial tires. They have done an excellent job of making this car look period correct with hidden upgrades.

The owners of this car have driven round trips from Denver to the Twin Cities (1), Columbus OH (1), Louisville (4 times!), Oklahoma City (twice), San Diego (1) and Phoenix (1) without a single break down or incident. There are chips in the paint from these miles but most people feel this adds authenticity to the look. This car has been the most enjoyable driver of their once considerable collection which included cars many times more valuable than this. They are selling due to age and health issues.

This car always succeeds in making people smile, is reliable to drive anywhere, and has had one single owner for the last 30+ years.
