Description
Brighton Motorsports is pleased to offer this stunning “House of Color®” pearl orange 1957 Bel Air 2-door Hardtop Custom Resto-Mod.
It has just completed a body-off, ground-up, rotisserie restoration. The project completion was so recent that the car even smells new! Complete book of receipts and more than 800 build photos document this no-expense-spared RestoMod. Fully optioned Art Morrison frame/chassis with triangulated 4-bar rear suspension and Strange Engineering adjustable coil-over shocks front and rear. Brand new GMPP RamJet 502 crate motor was installed, and has since been converted to carburetor for more nostalgic look and feel. Power is delivered through GM4L80E transmission with HGM control module, and bulletproof Strange Engineering posi-traction rear end. This beauty rolls on 18 x 8 front and 18 x 9.5 rear Billet Specialties wheels, 245 front and 275 rear tires, featuring Wilwood disc brakes with cross drilled rotors and polished calipers at all four corners. Engine compartment features smoothed/sculpted firewall to accommodate the 502 cu in high performance engine, as well as March Pulley System, polished steering linkage, Ron Davis dual-fan aluminum radiator, and HPC coated custom exhaust headers. The engine compartment is highly detailed and painted to match the body color.
Interior is highlighted by a gorgeous custom smoothed dash that flows into an artfully sculpted steel console running between the bucket seats. Dash and console are both painted with the same beautiful pearl orange as the exterior, which is striking against the custom black leather interior. Contrasting orange stitching highlights the seats, armrests and floor mats. Floor mounted shifter and handbrake are incorporated into the stunning console. Power windows, Vintage Air, killer sound system with iPod connector in console, Classic Instruments gauges, polished tilt steering column, and electric wipers finish out the interior. Beautiful undercarriage is highlighted with black powder coated Art Morrison frame, stainless steel fuel tank, stainless fuel and brake lines, and HPC coated exhaust system. Custom sculpted rear bumper incorporates license plate into bumper cavity, and moves it off deck lid. New glass all around, with rechromed trim and reconditioned stainless trim throughout. Top to bottom, inside and out, this ’57 is outstanding!
